TAMARKIN CAMERA MOVES TO CHICAGO

Chicago, Illinois – May 31, 2012- Tamarkin Camera announces its upcoming move to Chicago. The new Tamarkin Camera showroom will open in the City of Chicago in July 2012.

It’s a remarkable opportunity and we look forward to serving the photographers of the Chicago and all around the globe,” says Dan Tamarkin, the eldest son of Tamarkin Camera founder, Stan Tamarkin.

Tamarkin Camera will open its doors in Chicago this coming July, in the stylish River North Gallery District, in the Central Arts Building at 300 West Superior.
The Tamarkin Camera toll-free phone number remains the same (1-800-289-5342, 1-800-BUY-LEICA) and the company will continue to buy, sell and trade new, used and vintage Leica as the move is made.

Founded in 1984 (and collecting and trading since 1971), Tamarkin Camera is a familyowned Leica dealership. “My father infused me with the passion for Leica. It’s an honor for me to continue this exciting tradition,” says Dan.

I have personally known Stan Tamarking since 1978 and I wish him and his son the best of luck at the new location.
