The Leica M cameras have near perfect ergonomics. Why would anyone give that up by putting the camera into a leather case?
I basically agree with you. However, I can also understand why someone would want to protect their investment.
My cases are designed to protect the camera as much as possible whilst allowing access to all the relevant controls. I am a professional photographer using an M9 as well as a case maker. I am very rough with my cameras so that is why I stared to make camera cases for the M9. If you are really going to use an M9 rather than cuddle it the camera is likely to get some knocks. That is why a really good case is worth having. I hope it's okay for me to put my website address www.classiccases.co.uk Just so that you know I will be making a case for the new M !!
I very much appreciate your input, and yes. it is certainly okay to post your website address. I am looking forward to seeing your case for the new M.
