LEICA CAMERAS, LENSES AND ACCESSORIES AT THE UPCOMING TAMARKIN RARE CAMERA AUCTION







As reported earlier the Tamarkin Rare Camera Action will take place on Saturday, November 12.  As usual, this included a lot of rare and collectible Leica cameras, lenses and accessories.  You can review or download the auction catalog here.

Included in the auction are Leica rarities like…


Leica I, Nr. 1817. Made in 1926, this is one of the earliest, all-original camera we’ve seen in years. With ratcheted advance, feathered arrow markers, and the original 1920s vulcanite.



15mm Hologon f8 set in its original box and apparently unused. With 15mm spirit-level viewfinder, Neutral Density filter, and even the complete and blank warranty card.



A pair of Leica M4 Black Chrome cameras, made in Wetzlar and sequentially numbered. Complete in their original boxes.



Leica M2-S Black Enamel. One of approximately 300 black enamel M2 cameras made in one of the last batches in 1965.



33mm Stereo Stemar f3,5 with M adapter, M rear cap, Stemar lens shade OIGEO, Stemar Prism Nr. 1016 OIMPO, 33mm Stemar Bright-Line finder OIDYO, and Stemar Viewer OTHEO.



Leica IIIc Luftwaffen-Eigentum with 50mm Summitar and original ever-ready case. This wartime camera bears the engraving “Fl. No 38079” underneath the ordinary E. Leitz Wetzlar engravings on the top plate, as well as a red shutter curtain.



Leica M4 Nr. 1294871 KE-7A with 50mm Elcan f2 Nr. 276- 0002 and original lens shade, lens shade cap and E. Leitz New York ever-ready case.
