CHANGE AT THE MANAGEMENT BOARD OF LEICA CAMWERA AG




Dr. Ing. Marita Paasch succeeds Markus Limberger as Chief Operating Officer (COO). The 52-year-old physicist was appointed by the Supervisory Board effective June 1.

As COO Paasch takes over the departments Operations, Research and Development, Procurement, Customer Care and Supply Chain Management from Markus Limberger. Paasch has many years of expertise and experience in the profitable expansion of business and process optimization. She studied physics, followed by a PhD in solid state physics. Most recently, she headed the Advanced Materials Business Unit of Mondi AG, a listed international paper and packaging material manufacturer, since 2014. Previously, Paasch worked for more than 18 years in various management positions at the technology group Schott AG.
