As a woman, I find both cameras heavy, and I never leave the house without one (usually the 10). I've dropped the SL twice, something that would not have happened if it had been securely around my neck with one of these straps. I bought one strap for each camera. Had the M10 with me in NY, no more fussy to attach to the camera than any other. Right away I could feel the difference in ease in carrying it with the EDDYCAM strap. I simply feel less strain, and it is super easy to move the camera from hanging around the neck to across the body - and wearing it across the body makes it easy to pull it up in one swoop and capture a shot. I've never liked the original Leica strap, have tried others, but this one is the best, and easily worth the cost. I wore it all day in hot humid weather and it is super comfortable, did not get sweaty either. B&H only had 3 in stock, and I had to wait for them to send them up from the warehouse - I had been on the EDDYCAM website, but could not figure out which one was right for the camera. I got a smaller one for the M10, a slightly more beefy one for the SL. I mostly use the SL for studio photography, but want to be able to take out for a workshop or for shorter walkabouts, and this strap makes it possible. Big thumbs up from me too!marcythttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04673088052041983577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1320126156594375642.post-37493466182354956412018-07-26T15:20:15.950-05:002018-07-26T15:20:15.950-05:00It is probably not worth the price, but it is, wit...It is probably not worth the price, but it is, without a doubt, the most comfortable camera neck strap I have ever worn, especially when worn sling style around the neck and across the chest. I give it a big thumbs up!Lenswpeeperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11871717088207311028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1320126156594375642.post-23691555384151801762018-07-26T05:34:34.816-05:002018-07-26T05:34:34.816-05:00Not in their entirety. A camera system is a chain ...Not in their entirety. A camera system is a chain of many links and there are some weak links in other manufacturer's chains. The weakest one being the manufacturing process. As good as it has become, no massproduction can achieve the tight tolerances to which Leica equipment is made; that goes for their cameras as well as their lenses. On the other hand it is these tight tolerances that are necessary to achieve optimum performance levels. With lenses that means that they will work at virtually full performance, even wide open, and not stopped down a few stops. Unfortunately these extra steps are expensive, more so than what is indicated by the performance increases. If the expense of the better performance is worth the price of a Leica is something everyone has to decide for him/herself.LEICA Barnack Berek Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09055435560407011075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1320126156594375642.post-85163651223435127642018-07-26T05:32:14.044-05:002018-07-26T05:32:14.044-05:00Aren't Canon, Nikon, Fuji and Sony are equal t...Aren't Canon, Nikon, Fuji and Sony are equal to the Leica?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1320126156594375642.post-37714867102678114012018-07-26T05:31:21.191-05:002018-07-26T05:31:21.191-05:00I agree, most people cannot. Go to the EDDYCAM website and look at the video on how it is made. That will change your mind. As for Leica owners having too much money - that is a typical worn out non-argument. I know pro photographers that spend as much or more on their non-Leica camera equipment. From my days in retail, I can point to many beginning photographers that scraped together their last nickel to get a Leica. Not too much money there.LEICA Barnack Berek Bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09055435560407011075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1320126156594375642.post-34278953991802723442018-07-26T05:26:11.403-05:002018-07-26T05:26:11.403-05:00Looks like an overpriced item just to accommodate ...Looks like an overpriced item just to accommodate Leica owners with too much money.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1320126156594375642.post-17455204450547456842018-07-26T05:25:10.794-05:002018-07-26T05:25:10.794-05:00A while ago I might have agreed with you.
