The focus magnifier will magnify the image on the viewing screen in back of the camera and in the electronic viewfinder 10 times, making for extremely accurate focusing. This is way beyond what any of the DSLRs have to offer. Focus peaking will show a thin red line at the edges of the parts of the image that are in focus, thus making it substantially easier to focus manually.
