In 2015, Leica Camera USA
announced a special pricing promotion to compensate for the weakness of the
Euro versus the US Dollar, cutting retail pricing on nearly all photographic
equipment by 12%. That promotion officially ends on May 10, 2016 with new pricing
going into effect beginning May 11, 2016. Many items stay the same or only have
small increases of a few dollars, but some items, including most M, S and TL
lenses, are going up with a range of increases from $79-$975 depending on the
item. All orders for in stock items only placed before the end of the day on
May 10 will be honored at the old pricing.
