Leica announced changes to
the Leica Fotopark. According to Leica they
are:
NEW TERMS & CONDITIONS
OF USE
A brief overview of the
most important changes
We have modified the terms
and conditions of use of Leica Fotopark to take account of the new functions.
For legal reasons, we must notify you of these changes in full and in written
form.
1. By uploading content,
you confirm that you are the holder of all relevant rights of usage and that
you grant us the rights required for the operation of Leica Fotopark.
2. You yourself decide to
whom your pictures will be made visible from a choice of three different
categories. By selecting ‘unlimited visibility’, you grant us permission to
make use of the picture on the Leica Corporate Website and in Leica Fotopark.
At present, this would, for example, correspond to a photo-stream advertising
Leica Fotopark.
3. When uploading, please
ensure that any pictures that may contain offensive or objectionable subject
matter are labelled explicitly. A check box has been provided for this purpose.
All pictures uploaded to the category ‘Nude’ must be labelled in this way. This
enables you and other members to decide whether such pictures should be
displayed in your own accounts.
4. You may decline to
accept the changes by cancelling your membership. If you do not, you will be
deemed to have accepted the new terms and conditions of use.

Even better ways of
presenting yourself and your work: you can now extend your profile with a brief
description in the ‘About me’ section, and select and group pictures in
projects for public presentation.
FOTOPARK GOES MOBILE

Our platform is now
optimised for mobile devices. Discover new views, reply to comments and
messages, or upload pictures from your smartphone to Leica Fotopark, simply,
whenever and wherever you like.
PRIVATE COMMENTS
Chat about photos
You can now post private
comments about photos. The messaging function will no longer be available for
this. You can, however, select ‘My Account’ to view and download your earlier
messages and replies. Further details can be found in the FAQ section.

PHOTO PRINTING SERVICE
Enjoy numerous new

You can now have your

Is the photos in the Fotopark is safe? They can be easily drag and down load. I have already checked it. And there are many photos done with Non -Leica cameras I guess...
ReplyDeleteLeica has stated specifically that the photos do not necessarily have to be taken with Leica equipment. As for being safe, I see no reason why Fotopark isn't as safe as any other cloud service.
