A message from Heinz Richter
Our tour in Europe, including Wetzlar, has almost come to an end. Without a question, visiting Leica once again was very memorable. We were treated to a private showing of the Leica archives which usually are not open to the public. While I was familiar with many of the items in storage there, it was exciting to see many of them in their original condition. To my surprise, I also saw a few items which I never knew about. This included a prototype M camera which is virtually unknown. An article, with photographs, will follow soon after our return to Minneapolis on June 19.
