HOW TO CLEAN YOUR LEICA SENSOR

Many are very much afraid to clean the sensor in their camera. While sensors definitely have to be handled with care, they are not as delicate as many camera owners assume. I have cleaned the sensor in my cameras on many occasions and never have experience any problems at all.

Leica Store Miami, through its Red Dot Forum, has published a video, explaining how to safely clean the sensor in your Leica camera.

    1. Yes, it is. I should mention that it is not advisable to use a can of compressed air. The airstream is in most cases much too powerful and can lead to damage. The strong airflow also tends to force dust further into the camera where it can lead to other potential problems.
