German magazine PRIFIFOTO reports of a new venture by Leica with the Akademie für Fotografie in Hamburg.
Together with Leica Camera and Arri, the Academy for Photography Hamburg has gained two new partners who will provide the photography school with equipment with a total value of 125,000 euros. Together with Leica, the academy also awards a grant worth 4,000 euros. As part of the long-term partnership, Leica is providing three systems of the current Leica SL-2 and Leica SL-2S models with various SL lenses and accessories with a total value of 60,000 euros. Lighting specialist Arri brings film and continuous lighting with a total value of 65,000 euros.
