LEITZ MUSEUM REOPENED

By Heinz Richter

The Ernst Leitz Museum in Wetzlar has reopened to visitors since Monday, May 11, 2020. The two exhibitions “Dr. Paul Wolff & Tritschler. Light and shadow - photographs 1920 to 1950 ”and the exhibition“ Koudelka - Exiles and Panoramas 1968 ”, which has been presented since the beginning of March, were both extended.

In order to make the visit to the exhibition safe for visitors and employees, even during the corona pandemic, comprehensive protective and hygiene measures have been developed. The precautionary measures for infection protection include: visitor limitation and optimized visitor guidance as well as increased cleaning of critical points. The distance rule of at least 1.5 meters must be observed, as well as mouth-nose protection.

The Ernst Leitz Museum has expanded its opening hours and is now open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The adjacent Museum Shop is opened on request.
