ROTER PUNKT IN HOLLYWOOD

  1. Wouldn't it make more sense to publish your articles in English? The translator is a poor substitute in my opinion.

  2. The majority of the articles on this blog are published in English. However, it is also a fact that we do have a considerable number of German speaking readers. For that reason I feel it is only fair to accommodate them from time to time with an article in their own language.

  3. My German is not very good. Did I understand the article correctly that CW Sonderoptik is the manufacturer of the Leica motion picture lenses? Are they a separate company or are they part of Leica Camera AG?

  4. Yes, CW Sonderoprik is part of Leica Camera. As a matter of fact, they started out at the Leica production facility in Solms but moved to Leitz Park in Wetzlar because the Solms plant needed all their capacity for increased production of Leica M cameras and especially M lenses.

  5. Meine Beherrschung der englischen Sprache ist ansich nicht schlecht. Aber ich freue mich trotzdem immer wieder wenn mal ein deutscher Artikel hier auftaucht.
