NEW: WETZLAR CAMERA AUCTIONS




Lars Netopil, Leica camera expert and owner of Lars Netopil Classic Cameras in the heart of the old town of Wetzlar, just a few steps away from the historic shoots which Oscar Barnack took with his "UR"-Leica in 1914, announced a new venue: WETZLAR CAMERA AUCTIONS.

Wetzlar Camera Auctions GmbH was founded in 2018 with the goal of offering some of the best possible expertise in specialized auctions and marketing of high quality collectibles in the field of vintage photo cameras.

They will periodically conduct camera auctions starting in 2019.

Jo Geier has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Photographica Auctions and also has a broad and in-depth knowledge of equipment from all manufacturers.

For more than 30 years, Lars Netopil has been one of the few experts in the world to be considered as absolutely competent in questions regarding the history of the Leica camera. 

They have now bundled these competences to offer high quality in all respects of the auction, both to buyers and sellers.

This ranges from the authentication of the objects offered to them, the professional classification and description in the catalog, to the reliable handling of the auction.
