We saw a considerable
reduction of the price for a Leica M9 a few days ago. Amazon now has a further price drop. The Leica M9 is currently available from Amazon
for $5,999 in both steel gray and black.
The Leica M9-P received a
similar drop in price. It is now
available for $6,499 in both colors.
Unfortunately no such price reductions on the Leica M Monochrom.

That appears to be a close-out sale in anticipation of the new Leica Photokina models.
