HUAWEI P20 PRO WITH LEICA TRIPLE CAMERA 'BEST PHOTO SMARTPHONE"

As part of the TIPA Awards 2018, the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) Committee honored the best photo and imaging products in 40 different categories. The HUAWEI P20 Pro convinced the jury with the world's first Leica Triple Camera and was awarded as "Best Photo Smartphone".

Representatives of 29 photography and film publications from around the world voted the HUAWEI P20 Pro the "Best Photo Smartphone" after a series of tests. The world's first Leica triple camera with f / 1.8, f / 1.6 and f / 2.4 apertures currently offers the highest pixel count in a smartphone. The new five-fold hybrid zoom brings the user closer to the action and provides undiscovered possibilities in the motif selection. Combined with the "Master AI", which recognizes 19 categories and thus automatically makes the ideal settings for the subject, it is possible for every user to take photos of exceptional quality.

"For the second year in a row, TIPA honors a HUAWEI smartphone for its excellence in mobile photography," said Thomas Gerwers, TIPA Chairman. "The HUAWEI P20 Pro with the new Leica Triple Camera is a milestone in smartphone development for high-quality photography."

Recently, DxOMark honored the camera capabilities of the HUAWEI P20 series. With 109 and 102 points, the models HUAWEI P20 Pro and HUAWEI P20 achieved the highest values ​​to date for smartphone cameras and thus occupy the first two places in the current ranking of the DxOMark.
